TICKET GIVEAWAY: Chris Hardwick at The Troc 10/9
At the time that I am typing this, comedian Chris Hardwick has 1,072,696 followers on Twitter. That’s a lot of tweeting and is a testament to how much Hardwick gets around. In the 90s he was the other host of the MTV dating show Singled Out. Since then, he’s hosted WIRED Science on PBS, performed in the comedy musical duo Hard ‘n Phirm and acted in various films and animation shows. Currently he’s the host of Web Soup and correspondent for Attack of the Show on G4 and writes for his very popular blog Nerdist.com. Somehow he finds to time to do stand-up as well and he’s currently on the road for his “Nice Tweets” tour.
And by golly, we’re giving away a pair of tickets to his show this Friday at Trocadero Theatre! To enter the random drawing, send an e-mail to comicvsaudience@gmail.com by Friday at noon.
There aren’t a lot of clips of Hardwick’s stand-up on the internet, but here he briefly discusses his hick upbringing:
And since I’m such a basketball nerd (we are all nerds with something), here’s a behind-the-scenes clip of Hardwick with NBA guards Kobe Bryant and Derrick Rose for the NBA2K10 video game:
