Actually Doogie, I think the socks might not actually be underwater. They appear to actually be in front of a drawing of an actual underwater scene that actually took place somewhere else.

Why are the socks underwater? Socks can’t speak Mexican while they’re underwater. That kind of ruins the skit for me. I can’t even read the subtitles because I’m too busy thinking “Why are these socks underwater?”
