Congrats Yankees, you jerks
Well, the baseball season is over as hometown boys weren’t able to pull it out last night in Game 6. The New York Yankees are World Champions once again. Many outside of the Big Apple will be stewing over the next year as the “Evil Empire” has won again. Bill Burr (one of the funniest comics in the country right now, yes, it’s true) is one of them and he was on The Opie and Anthony Show this morning to give his hilarious take:
If you want to hear more of Bill, listen to his excellent Monday Morning Podcast.

Bill Burr nailed it. It’s true, what a Cinderella story.

Wow, if Bill Burr keeps being this funny I’m gonna start feeling bad for other comedians.

I was just listening to this and cracking up and then i come here and I listened again. Bill Burr is awesome, and has made me feel a little better about what happened last night.
Side note: A-rod’s ex is claiming that he has 2 paintings hung in his house of him as a centaur.

Fans of every other team would love to do what the Yankees have done…Ownership that spends money to win; unheard of everywhere else. Other owners hoard their proceeds without reinvesting in their own team and fan base. LOVE THE YANKEES!

“The Yankees hope Douglas Elliman will accelerate the sales of seats that range in cost from $350 to $2,500 a game.” “…prominent Manhattan residential real estate brokerage, Prudential Douglas Elliman”
Hiring a real estate brokerage to sell absurdly expensive tickets doesnt exactly sound like “reinvesting in their own team and fan base.” Probably because it isnt’t.
